Seraphina: Angel Card 2025

For 27 years I’ve created an angel card each holiday season. What began as a simple way to share something lasting has become a practice of devotion and continuity. Every year, the form changes. Every year, the angel becomes something new.

This year’s angel is Seraphina. She is not a traditional angel, but a living work of art. Seraphina draws inspiration from many expressions of light: the Seraphim, Metatron, bodhisattvas, devas — radiant collaborators that appear in different cultures and traditions.

Her form carries living geometry: Metatron’s cube, the vesica piscis holding the nautilus spiral, and the layered shimmer of gold leaf, holographic film, and fine point work. She is both intricate and expansive, a glimpse of the infinite, never fixed in one meaning.

For me, this piece is less about definition and more about presence. About allowing the collaboration of light beings to emerge in color, geometry, and rhythm. About continuing a tradition that remains alive because it evolves, never bound to a single form.

Seraphina is an invitation to see angels not as one figure, but as an endless unfolding of light.
