The Alchemy of Becoming

Alchemy of Becoming is a commissioned mixed media artwork built layer by layer through a process that combines woodworking, pyrography, reflective materials, and light.

Each stage informs the next, from shaping the wood, to pyrography, to the final layers of pigment, metal leaf, holographic film, and reflective glass.

All of my pieces are light-responsive, revealing different colors, reflections, and details as the light changes throughout the day. Hidden within the mandala are layers of geometric patterning.
